DIESEL SHIBUYA is the only concept store in the world where introduces the lifestyle of DIESEL. Every each year, create an unique installation in the home collection area by architects or designers.
In the current installation, DIESEL features Takuya Matsuda who executes diverse designs such as interior, furniture, product also communication. Enjoy the exclusive space titled “MOOD SWINGS” by Takuya Matsuda.
Concept
Gentle, rough, frail, strength. In the space that has various expression, collocate the interior products such as lights, furniture, or dishware.. Together with our various emotion and affection, the space would complete scenery with certain ambience.
The combination of ceramic tile floor, plaster wall, and wood shelf creates gentleness in its classic appearance, black & white pictures printed on the wall and sculpture with solid color express its course of ephemeral decay.
Adding the sophisticated and modern DIESEL LIVING products in that frame, the space will create the ambiance with somewhat suggestiveness that has no concrete definition.
Takuya Matsuda
Born in Osaka, 1978.
After studying product design in Kanazawa, he joined Fabrica which is design and communication academy founded by Benetton in Treviso, Italy.
At Fabrica, he was senior designer in Design depatment which executing variety of projects include store design, exhibition design, product design also communication design.
After 3 years, he moved to Tokyo, and entered BALS which is Japanese retail company has variety of enterprises for interior lifestyle business.
In 2007, he established own design company in Tokyo.
